On May 15-16, 2019, the annual international scientific and practical conference «Actual issues of internal medicine» started its work on the basis of the SE «Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine». The conference has become traditional, uniting scholars from different regions of Ukraine and other countries. The geography of the participants this year has expanded significantly: their reports were presented by prominent scholars from Sweden, Poland, the Republic of Lithuania and Belarus.

The logo of the conference this year was chosen magic flowers from the painting of the master of painting Vincent Van Gogh «Irises», symbolizing the hope of healing. This picture was created in 1889. During this period, suffering from illness, the author worked a lot, hoping with the help of painting for recovery.

Speakers, including from other countries and conference guests, highlighted the high professional and scientific level of evidence-based medicine presentations and up-to-date clinical recommendations. By choosing the direction for self-improvement, enhancement of qualifications and practical professionalism, the doctor feels the need to find new opportunities, increase his scientific and practical potential and fully reflect on the work of the international scientific and practical conference «Actual issues of internal medicine».
